Creating a new category

go to the admin panel at the bottom of the forum. Once you are logged in go to general then categories and forums. a category is a whole set of forums a forum is where all the threads pertaining to that subject is hosted you can set up your categories and forums. when you create a forum it will ask you about permissions. it has all, members only, and admin only. you will have to manually edit this for any other user groups if you put it on admin only
